This Policy applies to personal information Work Savvy collects from you or your business:

• via our website or client portal;
• via social media;
• via telephone;
• via email;
• in person; and/or
• in writing, including forms submitted during signup or onboarding.

This Policy also applies to personal information collected about you from any other third party, including a colleague, employer, or referral partner.

Aside from forms you knowingly complete, such as a demo request or signup, our website and client portal collect two types of information. The first is anonymous information gathered using analytics tools. Our servers make a record of your visit and log the following for statistical purposes:

• your server address;
• your general geographic location and top-level domain (e.g. .com, .gov, .au);
• the date and time of your visit;
• the pages accessed and documents downloaded;
• the site you came from; and
• the type of browser and device used.

We also use "cookies" — small text files stored on your device. We use cookies to keep you securely logged in to your Work Savvy portal and to remember your preferences between visits. We do not use cookies to build a profile of you for advertising purposes.

You can adjust your browser to disable cookies or warn you when they're used. If you disable cookies, some areas of our website or portal — including logging in — may not work as intended.

From time to time you may voluntarily supply personal information to us — by requesting a demo, signing up for an account, sending an email, calling our team, or using the Safety and HR modules within the platform.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include your name, contact details, job title, company details, team size, employment or licensing records for your workers, billing and payment details, and details of any enquiries or support requests you've made with us.

We will collect personal information directly from you unless:

• you've consented to us collecting it from a third party — for example, a workplace representative or referral partner; or
• we're legally required to do so; or
• it's unreasonable or impractical to do so.

Where lawful and practicable, you can choose to interact with us anonymously or under a pseudonym — for example, when making a general enquiry. Doing so may limit the level of service we're able to offer.

Work Savvy only collects personal information necessary to operate our Safety and HR compliance platform. When you provide your information, it allows us to:

• set up and operate your Safety and/or HR modules;
• provide onboarding, training, and Guided Partner support;
• respond to enquiries and support requests;
• improve our platform and service delivery;
• manage billing and your ongoing subscription;
• conduct surveys and product research;
• provide added client benefits and updates relevant to your trade.

Information provided to Work Savvy is used only to deliver our services to clients and their teams. We don't provide it to any other third party except where necessary to deliver our core service, where required to by law, or where you've given consent. Some features of the platform — such as payment processing — are provided in conjunction with trusted third-party partners, and limited personal information is shared with them so they can perform that function.

On occasion we may engage other companies to perform functions on our behalf, such as email delivery or hosting. In these cases we ensure appropriate confidentiality arrangements are in place, and only share the information required for them to perform that function. We take reasonable steps to ensure any organisation we disclose your information to is committed to protecting your privacy in a manner at least substantially similar to this Policy.

Wherever reasonably practicable, we hold electronic personal information on data servers owned and controlled by Work Savvy or our trusted hosting providers. These servers are password protected and access controlled. By providing personal information to us, you consent to it being stored and processed on servers — including cloud infrastructure — that may be located in Australia or other countries. We take reasonable steps to ensure any third-party provider we use meets an equivalent standard of data protection.

Wherever reasonably practicable, we hold physical personal information in access-controlled premises.

You consent to our use of your personal information for direct marketing purposes, which may include updates about new modules, product features, or offers relevant to your trade.

If you'd prefer not to receive marketing communications from us, you can opt out at any time by:

• using the unsubscribe link included in any marketing email; or
• contacting our team directly to update your preferences.

You have the right to request access to your personal information and ask that it be updated or corrected. Clients can view and update most account and contact details directly through the Work Savvy portal, or by contacting our support team.
